What is CREOTO?

Creoto has created the world’s first standardised, digitally controlled prosthetic socket that gives a dynamically adjusting custom fit that adapts to changes in stump shape and volume of the amputees.

Market Problem

An amputee's stump continually changes in shape and volume, something the current rigid custom-made prosthetic sockets cannot adapt to. A poorly fitting socket leads to bruises, blisters, and pain, affecting the user's ability to mobilise and reducing their quality of life.

Solution

A standardised smart prosthetic socket that, controlled through an app, gives a dynamically adjusting custom fit. The use of robotics allows the user to adjust grip levels to suit a range of activities, with real-time data collected, for analysis by the user and their multi-disciplinary care team through an online platform to ensure continued comfort and improved quality of life.

Creoto’s digital platform means that real time user data can be collected and analysed, allowing for accurate monitoring of patients mobility, the fit of their prosthesis and key physiological measurements. As connected healthcare continues to develop, our digital output can be combined with a wider range of patient metrics to support the holistic view of patient care.

At Creoto we envision the future by merging the orthotics and prosthetics industry with the digital healthcare industry, developing smart technologies through applied robotics. Our current solutions:

A) Patent pending Creoto Prosthetic Socket, replacing current hard-cast sockets.

B) Online platform, collecting real-time user's health data for efficient treatment.

“The uniform grip feels great and it is so much easier to take it on and off.”

Why creoto?

Improved quality of life: By providing a dynamically adjusting customised fit, users do not have to face the common complications of stump volume changes that arise with the current hard cast sockets, allowing users to mobilise and enjoy their daily activities.

Custom fit from a standardised product: With mass manufacturing of the sockets possible, we avoid the time and cost inefficient process of making custom sockets, thus a user can begin mobilising earlier.

Ease of use: Users can simply slip the socket on and adjust the grip accordingly via bluetooth through the mobile application, removing the effort needed to stuff their stump into a tight-fitting socket.

Digitally connected: The user interface allows real time data tracking and analysis, with a connection to the professionals that can help ensuring users to have a healthier stump.

Saves money: Rather than needing six or seven custom socket changes in the first two years post-amputation, Creoto's ability to adapt to the stump's changes allows for a one-off purchase, with conservative estimates projecting it to cost £8,000 less per limb.

Login Screen

The user who have got their Creoto Socket uses this mobile application to control the socket and access other features.

screen-25.png
Dashboard

This is the main page an existing user will land on a daily basis, allowing them to control each grip profile according to their activities.

screen-23.png
New User Screen

First time users would provide their basic personal details, followed by a screen asking about their amputation.

screen-26.png
Doctor Screen

After adding their doctor on the app, this page allows users to interact with their doctors, share daily health data, and take their guidance.

Setting up base pressure

Once the socket is connected, this screen allows user to set up the base pressure after which they can individually control each area.

Community

This feature allows users to interact with different people facing similar problems, make friends, manage groups as well as listen to inspirational stories.
